Just not quite the same!

FTGU socks were my favorite of ALL TIME! They seemed to just last forever and they never slipped down above my ankle at all. A little snug to get on, but once they were on they were there to stay! When I went to order some more pairs, I found out that the brand had moved to WUL wear. Overall, looked like the same socks so I ordered a few pairs to try them out. After wearing around my new WUL socks for a few weeks now, I am sad to say that these just aren't quite the same as the old ones. Don't get me wrong; still great socks. But, it seems as if there is just a bit less elastic in the upper part of the socks, which have kind of changed the way they wear. It does make them a bit easier to put on, but they do seem to be slipping down all of the time now. Also, material seems a bit less robust so I do wonder if they will have the same kind of longevity that the FTGUs had. Still quite comfortable overall, but they just really make me miss my old favorite FTGUs!
